BEFORE THE COURSE YOU NEED TO HAVE:
1. Filled in application form (received by application)
2. Photo 3,5 x 4,5 cm. (2 pieces)
3. Medical certificate (from your doctor)
4. Residence permits valid for at least 6 months
5. You must pay 21.700 Ft for the exams, to The Controlling Authority (6.000
Ft + 4.700 Ft + 11.000 Ft)
I. THEORETICAL COURSE (if you want to take it)
- Traffic knowledge, constructional and operating knowledge, theory
of driving
An official interpreter (extra costs.) has to be present
at the theoretical exam.
II. DRIVING PRACTICE (2x50 minutes/occasion)
According to the Hungarian rules you have to take at
least 29 driving lessons, (+ the exam) which consist of:
- 9 lessons routine exercises
- 14 lessons driving in the city
- 2 lessons driving at night
- 4 lessons driving outside built-up areas
You must take 2 practical exams:
1. Routine handling of the car with technical knowledge (25 minutes)
2. Traffic exam (50 minutes)
You may only take the exams if:
- You are considered fit for driving
- You are more then 17 years old
- You are able to write and read
After the routine exercises you have to take the routine
exam with the technical knowledge, after having passed the routine exam
you can begin driving in traffic. You must wait 4 days between the exams.
You can meet the teacher at a place you have agreed to previously, somewhere
on the line of the underground.
